A Bazaar Recap...

This past weekend was the 3 day Vintage Bazaar Holiday Pop-Up Shop in Logan Square. I had been anticipating this since September! It's a smaller, more intimate setting than most of the sales I do. If every sale could look and feel like this one, I would be ecstatic! My brother Jon, whom I've spoke about several times, drove in for the sale with his amazing collection of antiques. Also, showing his graphic design and artistic skills by displaying a modern version of a Paper Moon for people to get their photo taken in. I mean how ingenious is that! This was by far the most successful sale Dethrose Vintage has done yet! Just simply take in the photos below and you will see why I was so in love with this particular sale.

This not only was my favorite Pop-up Shop to date, it was also a perfect setting for the launch of my new LookBook!

Just a few things...

Lots of fun things this weekend keeping me busy! The Vintage Bazaar, a blogger meet-up and tons of new stuff preparing to be added to Dethrose! The Holiday season has definitely arrived! I just hope I'm not to busy to enjoy it all. I can't wait to share all the fun and details next week with you all.

The other fun thing I got to do last week was a photo-shoot for local Chicago Boutique Penelope's. Penelope's has been my favorite Chicago non-vintage shop. The aesthetic of this lovely lil' shop is definitely a 60's modern vibe, you literally walk in and want to live there:) Carrying all the best brands, A.P.C., Rachel Comey, Sessun and that's just a few. Check out the blog for more info. Here is just a sneak peak of the lookbook coming soon. I wanted every single piece of clothing they put me in!

Fall/Winter Dethrose Lookbook

As you see, things are looking a little different around here. Not only did my blog get a makeover, but today is the launch of my new website & Lookbook!! Visit Dethrose Vintage to see it all:) 

You may remember my last lookbook, done by the awesome team Blow-Up Creative. It was long overdue for us to collaborate once again. Working with Richie & Katie is always a blast! They are seriously beyond talented and a visually innovative duo! I swear every time we talk about our thoughts & vision it feels like we have read each others minds. Katie and I both share an obsession with all things involving Fashion and Photography, so it's always great to hear her perspective on the design and branding.

Dethrose Updates!

I can't keep my mouth shut any longer! I will be launching my own website & Holiday Look Book very, very soon. Like in a week or 2 kinda soon:)  Yep that's right, dethrosevintage.com is all mine. For now it will just be a easy 1 click way to get to my shop, blog, tumblr, facebook, twitter and my new look book. I wanted it to make it easier for Dethrose Vintage readers and shoppers to navigate throughout all my webpages without having to enter different addresses! So please stay tuned and I will keep you updated on all the Details!

Today I am feeling a bit under the weather, Echinacea Tea and soup for me today! I will be spending it inside in my pj's pricing new items, taking photos and trying to get better in time for more shopping this week!
