Leap into Spring

Yesterday was quite a crazy day here in Chicago. I woke up to the sun shining so bright in my room and it was so warm in my apartment. I walked through the kitchen and couldn't believe how hot it was, something was off. I checked the weather and it was already 54º at 8am!! I immediately turned off the heat and opened a window. I was so ecstatic, Spring!!

I worked on Dethrose Vintage listings for a bit and then went to brunch with Kat. It was just so gorgeous out, we walked around soaking up the sun. Unfortunately if you live in Chicago you know the weather can change at the drop of a hat. One minute I was leaving my coat in the car and the next it's raining and dropped 25º with in 30 min. No joke, bipolar Chicago decided to turn right back into winter. Hey, at least I got to enjoy it for about 5 hours.
1960s Teal Trench ~ Estate Sale
Rope Belt ~ Estate Sale
1940s Dress ~ Knee Deep Vintage
Sunglasses ~ Anthropologie

Handbag ~ I got this at the Elgin Cat's Pajamas Show from a booth who's name is escaping me right now:(
Carousel Charm Bracelet ~ Bunny's Trunk Show
Rings & Necklace ~ Estate Sales
I found these 1950s charms last Summer at an Estate Sale. I loved the clown so much and yes, you pull the tie and it sticks out it's tongue and rolls it's eyes!
 T-Straps ~ 4ever 21
Are you experiencing Spring already where you are?

On a side note, one of my favorite blogs, Honey Kennedy, is hosting a giveaway for one of my favorite Etsy shops, Adore Vintage! Enter HERE!

Colorado is the same way. Earlier today, it was sunny, then it snowed (well flurried), then it was sunny again and now it is windy and cloudy. WTH??? I love this whole look! From your plaid to your midi to your t-strap sandals! Bring on the spring!

YAY I'm glad you ended up getting that bag, it's so perfect for spring & summer. Sadly I had to work yesterday... I only experienced the yucky, snowy weather. :(

Love the teal & green combo and how the dress looks like separates!
