A group of Chicago designers have gotten their heads together to present a lush, contemplative show at the Elastic Arts Gallery in Logan Square called Chez Mignon: A House of Pretty Things on Friday, April 1st. Springtime looks including original sustainable designs and impeccably curated vintage will be paired with instrumental jazz and original musical works. A photo gallery to warm things up and robust racks of garments (both mens and womens) for sale following the show. The evening will engage the senses and appeal to those who appreciate how some of the city's finest independent creatives can feed and play off each other.
Fresh designs will be shown by Dollparts, Alidade and Caroline Borucki and vintage styling by YellowBirdd and Dethrose Vintage. Doors open at 7p for cocktails and a photo exhibit featuring work by Finley J. Photography, Shannon Driscoll, Rebecca Lyon, AlderEgo and Bodywallet. The event will be accompanied by incredible live music from Sewing Pattern and Deep Deep Diver. Chez Mignon can be enjoyed by anyone with appreciation for creativity and inspirational interest.
Free admission, and complimentary cocktails (with photo ID).
