I don't really post much about things outside of my vintage shop on this ol' blog. Not because I'm a private person by any means. It's mostly because I don't want to subject you all to random nonsense that can fill my daily life! Well, I thought long and hard and decided to give it a whirl. And by whirl I mean, giving you a peek into my vintage loving life, a crazy cute cat, my obsession with music and random weird humor...here it goes.
This week I ventured up to Minneapolis for a Dethrose Vintage Pop Up shop. My boyfriend, Mike, owns a beautifully curated Mens vintage and Barber shop Midnorth Mercantile in the twin cities. A crazy rad collection of Mens vintage all USA made (and yes I can't believe how lucky I am to found someone who shares my love of vintage...ok he's a little more bonkers over it than I am). So it just made sense to hike it up to MPLS and set up shop for the weekend! May I just say the chicks in this city are some of the raddest & coolest people that just get it.
One of the super rad chicks was Eliesa Johnson. Mike had been raving about how awesome Eliesa is and how much he loves the work she has done for his shop (check out how talented she is HERE). He couldn't have been more right! I was lucky enough to have her shoot the Pop-Up preview. Then that led to an impromptu shoot of Mike and I.
And now I'm not one for gushy lovey dovey displays but when I saw what Eliesa had shot, well, I just wanna show ya. I just love how she captured us, silly us:)
Ok well that's enough for now. If you live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area come see me and Mike! We'll be here all weekend.
