The Perfect Pant

This morning was one of those mornings that I randomly decided to go on a quick thrifting adventure. My day was chalked full of errands and one of those errands was near my favorite thrift stores. So I decided there was no harm just popping in real quick. I am so glad I did! I have been on the hunt for authentic 60's cigarette plaid pants. I have tried numerous and none have fit. The search is finally over! I found these amazing high waist plaid cigarette pant that fit so perfectly I don't ever want to take them off!
I feel like Mary Tyler Moore as Laura Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke show!

Why are they called cigarette pants? I saw that term on La redoute the other day and didn't know why they were called that?
They look so lovely on you!
