Holiday ❄ Happenings

This pretty much sums up my Holiday and Winter thus far. Snowy days & nights, Market Supply Co shop days, cuddles with Mackenzie and Mike, & an evening with Cass McCombs. I love Chicago this time a year, despite the frigid temps, it's always a great winter:)

2 Roses

This past weekend I had the pleasure to work side by side with one of my favorite ladies, Sam from Rose Vintage! Sam is such a blast and inspiration to be around, so anytime I have the chance to work with her, I will! We couldn't wait to do the Randolph Market together for their Winter Market. Sam and I had such a fun time in December, why not do it all over again? It was lovely getting to meet some wonderful Chicago girls who love vintage just as much as we do. I love meeting all the Dethrose Vintage fans in person and seeing all the vintage goodies they pick and style. All around it was a fantastic time:)

An excuse to wear a coat....

I'm not sure why I choose this as my outfit post but I love this coat. Why? I love navy but I think it was the toggles that sank my heart. I had to get it dry cleaned and it seemed to be taking forever (4 days). So when Sam from Rose Vintage wanted to take outfit photos, I had just picked it up from the cleaners & I knew I was wearing it. Now the outfit may not be too fabulous but it was one of my favorites simply because of this toggle wool coat:)

Monday Update

So many new items in the Dethrose shop and so many more to come! It has been one crazy week/weekend around here. Tons of new items found and I have a lot to photograph so I can show them all to you! Meanwhile, I hope you love the new things.

30, here I come!

First off I would love to thank you all for the warm wishes on my Birthday! So far 30 is pretty awesome. I guess it's because I don't feel 30. I am very lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people on a daily basis! Last night I had a "little" gathering at my apartment, it was the best time, looking around the room and seeing all my favorite people in one spot was truly fantastic! I will post the photos from last night later this week! They are spectacular, I awoke this morning, not hungover surprisingly, but my cheeks hurt from smiling so much! Today I just took it easy, brunch with a friend, pictures, errands and Blue Valentine tonight. So 30, so far you have not disappointed me!

I did receive some lovely gifts from people and this week I be sure to post different outfits with these new treasures. Today is the first, my friend Niki got me a beautiful sweater! I mean I am seriously in love with this sweater! It's just so beautiful, soft and feminine! And today was just too beautiful of a snow day not to shoot it. So Thank You Niki!!!
