Spring Sprung...then left...

Whoa! Where has this month gone?? Oh wait. It's gone to Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, New York and lastly Massachusetts. That's right, I've been selling and buying vintage all over the place and Summer hasn't even started yet!! I promise to get back on track to this poor neglected blog! Vintage Overtime

This past week was a busy one! Traveling and buying for the shop,working 14 hours a day. Honestly though, if I could be that kind of busy everyday I wouldn't mind the chaos! I have a ton more to do but I couldn't wait to show ya the goods. 

 
As I was unpacking I realized just how much I found. My only problem...figuring out what to keep;)

Now I can't really sew but I am contemplating keeping these 1930s & 1940s dress patterns. The illustrations alone are great.

Polka Dots & Pants

My first day in Minneapolis was actually the first day I was able to enjoy Spring. Of all places right!? Minneapolis, which is usually about 15º colder than Chicago, happened to get their Spring first. It was as if mother nature knew I was coming! Still a little brisk, my perfect first day of Spring weather outfit was of all things, pants!! I found these gems while pillaging my local Buffalo Exchange. They're not vintage but dang do they have a 40s vibe. My body is not meant for modern clothing usually but I slipped these on and they were made for me! So now I will be wearing them at least once a week for the next few months;)

Later that day Eliesa Johnson, who I posted about in the last post, came by and shot a few pictures of me before the Dethrose Vintage party began.
